Full job description

Overview

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Multi-Skilled Painter & Decorator to join our growing team. The successful candidate will carry out high-quality painting, decorating, and general maintenance work across residential and commercial properties.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in delivering excellent workmanship and customer service.

Duties

Internal and external painting and decorating
Surface preparation, including sanding, filling, and priming
Wallpaper hanging and removal
Basic plaster repairs and making good
Minor carpentry, tiling, and maintenance tasks
Working independently and as part of a team
Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
Maintaining clean and tidy work areas
Liaising professionally with clients and site managers

Qualifications

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in painting & decorating or equivalent.
A valid driving licence is required for site visits across multiple locations.
Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients, suppliers, and team members professionally.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
Organised with good attention to detail to ensure flawless finishes on all projects.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to painting, decorating, and working at height. This role provides an excellent opportunity for dedicated professionals eager to showcase their multi-skilled expertise in painting and decorating while contributing in other areas

Working Hours: 37 ½ per week

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
