Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated Pharmacy Staff to join our team, providing essential support in delivering high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will assist in medication administration and ensure the smooth operation of the pharmacy. This role is vital in maintaining the health and well-being of our patients through effective pharmaceutical services.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications as per prescriptions.
Provide excellent patient care by answering queries and offering guidance on medication usage.
Maintain accurate records of medication administration and patient interactions.
Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards.
Support pharmacists in managing inventory and restocking medications as required.
Participate in training and development activities to enhance professional skills.
Maintain confidentiality
Working as part of a team
Merchandising and maintaining frontshop area
Dealing with card and cash transactions
Sale of OTC medicines

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician/assistant is preferred but not essential.
On the job training can be provided
Strong understanding of patient care principles and medication administration.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of practice.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
