Job Description – Receptionist & Sales Coordinator

Location: Stratton Court Care Home & Village, Cirencester
Hours: 0900-1730, with occasional late shift and includes weekends

About the Role

We are looking for a friendly, professional and approachable Receptionist & Sales Coordinator to join our team at Stratton Court Care Home & Village.

As the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors and healthcare professionals, you will play a key role in creating a warm and welcoming environment while supporting the day-to-day operation of the home. Alongside reception duties, you will assist with enquiries from prospective residents, conduct show rounds, and support the admissions process.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, has excellent customer service skills and takes pride in delivering a first-class experience.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome residents, relatives, visitors and healthcare professionals in a friendly and professional manner.
Answer and direct incoming telephone calls, taking accurate messages where required.
Respond to enquiries from prospective residents and their families.
Arrange and conduct show rounds of the home, promoting our facilities, services and community.
Support the admissions and sales process by following up enquiries and maintaining accurate records.
Keep the reception area clean, organised and welcoming at all times.
Prepare and serve refreshments for visitors and prospective families.
Assist the hospitality team during lunchtime service in the restaurant when required.
Manage incoming and outgoing post and deliveries.
Carry out general administrative duties including filing, scanning, photocopying and data entry.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with GDPR and company policies.
Work closely with all departments to ensure excellent communication and customer service.

Skills and Experience

Previous experience in a receptionist, hospitality, customer service or sales role is desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A confident and professional telephone manner.
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently.
A positive, flexible and proactive approach to work.
A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Experience within a care home, healthcare or hospitality environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
