Job description

Lead the delivery of high-quality management information and performance analysis to support operational decision-making across the directorate. You will manage daily, weekly, and monthly reporting, turning complex data into clear, actionable insights. Working closely with senior leaders, you will provide advice, improve business processes, and ensure teams meet their objectives. This role offers an opportunity to influence performance, enhance reporting practices, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment, supporting development of analytical capability across the team.

Your responsibilities will include, but arent limited to:

Lead a team to understand, interpret and gather business requirements, to source relevant datasets from internal and external data holders.
Maintain high standards of data accuracy, completeness, and reliability, ensuring that analysis is based on robust and validated data sources.
Manage directorate business as usual MI, including operational demand, performance, and compliance with agreed procedures. Resolve queries regarding outputs and present findings to relevant stakeholders.
Build and manage effective working relationships with key stakeholders across the agency, engaging throughout the delivery of agreed projects and seeking feedback to support continuous improvement.
Work collaboratively with Service Management and operational teams to support activities such as change management and benefit profiling, including monitoring business performance and agreed staffing levels.
Oversee and be accountable for performance, conduct and attendance processes within your area of responsibility and ensure they are adhered to and acted on in a timely manner in your role as Investigating Officer, Decision Officer or Appeals Officer

Required experience:

To be successful in this role you will need to have the following experience:

Experience of analysing performance data and producing clear management information (MI) to support decision-making.
Experience of managing and delivering regular reporting cycles (daily, weekly, monthly).
Experience of reviewing and improving processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Knowledge in medical policies and procedures.
Knowledge and understanding of Drivers Medical policies, procedures and Management Information.

This role is suitable for hybrid working, which is a non-contractual arrangement where a combination of workplace and home-based working can be accommodated subject to business requirements.
