Full job description

About the Role

Framfield House Surgery is recruiting a receptionist/administrator to join our practice. The role is offered on either a full or a part-time basis.

The main duties will include:

Work on our front desk to greet patients face-to-face, make appointments, deal efficiently with patient queries
Answer incoming calls to make appointments and deal with queries
Make outgoing calls to patients and other organisations as necessary
Support the team with administrative duties applicable to the role

About the Candidate

The successful candidate will be able to:

Support the team by working in an efficient and effective way
Participate in staff meetings
Good team player
Have outstanding customer service
Possess good numeracy, literacy and computer skills
Have an excellent and confident telephone manner whilst remaining empathetic and understanding the need for strict confidentiality
Possess good organisation skills
Knowledge of SystmOne is preferred and experience of working within a primary care setting would be an advantage.

The successful applicant should have good organisational skills and be enthusiastic to provide an efficient timely service.
