Full job description

Sales Administrator

Location : Bexley - Kent

Reporting To : Customer Experience & Performance Manager

Salary: £29,000 + Bonus

We have an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented, customer-focused Sales Administrator to directly support our Senior Sales Managers.

The Role:

In this support role, you will act as the operational backbone for our high-value business development activities, taking ownership of administrative workflows, managing key schedules, and delivering exceptional service to our key business accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

Diary Management: Manage the diaries of the Business Development team, coordinate client meetings, prepare meeting materials and capture agreed actions and next steps.
Financial Administration: Accurately generate, process, and send invoices, track payments, and liaise with the finance team to resolve billing queries.
Key Account Customer Service: Act as the primary administrative point of contact for large key accounts, handling complex customer queries with professionalism, accuracy, and empathy.
Sales Pipeline & Proposal Management: Produce sales proposals, generate accurate quotes, and proactively track open deals and outstanding invoices to keep the sales pipeline moving.
Query Resolution: Take full ownership of key account issues from initial contact through to resolution, liaising with internal teams to ensure swift outcomes.
Data & Process Improvement: Maintain accurate sales records on the CRM system, maintain customer data, and identify opportunities to simplify administrative processes.

About You:

Highly Organised: Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and stay ahead in a fast-paced environment.
Effective Communicator: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable interacting with high-level corporate stakeholders and key account decision-makers.
Detail-Oriented & Accountable: High accuracy in financial tasks (invoicing, quotes) and a dedicated approach to following through on commitments.
Proactive Problem Solver: Confident using sound judgment to resolve account queries, troubleshoot issues, and support business development goals independently.
