Accounts Receivable Analyst

Hybrid working with up to 4 days per week working from home

Brighton (BN1 4FY)

Permanent

Salary £24,900 - £30,000 per annum dependent upon experience

Excellent benefits including generous pension and healthcare

Full time 37.5 hours per week

Role Overview
Working as part of the Finance Operations Department within the Accounts Receivable team, you will support a wide range of departments both in the UK and Globally. The role is responsible for ensuring the accurate, complete and timely processing of payments, associated administrative tasks, investigating queries, supporting colleagues and adhering to the necessary controls related to the tasks maintaining clear records and audit trails.

What you'll do:

Support with the time sensitive Daily Cash Application
Investigate, clearance and timely action/application of items held in Transfers Not Applied
Ownership of the Paystack process
Ownership of the Direct Debit Failure reports and support team with HKSCB DD processes
Action Credit Card Failure report and ensure policies reflect correct balances
Prioritise and maintain the SLA for the Accounts Receivable inbox, coordinating solutions with stakeholders and providers as required
Supporting with bank queries, investigations and escalations
Support the wider Finance Operations Team with evidence gathering for regular audits
Manage and clear the Task List items for the Accounts Receivable Team
Support with investigation and data gathering for Worldpay queries

What you'll bring:

Experience within an Accounts Receivable and Insurance background
Comfortable with payment allocations and reconciliations
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Ability to analyse and interpret complex data, and clearly communicate insights and trends.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage workloads, meet tight deadlines and demonstrate flexibility for any changes in working priorities.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Comfortable to take ownership of problems to resolve issues
Excellent interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills
