Main duties and responsibilities

Be extremely knowledgeable about wine and drinks and constantly seeking to improve this knowledge for themselves and their team.
Be knowledgeable about menus served and food terminology.
Carry out the training of team members across the department regarding beverage and service.
Make sure mise en place of glasses is to the requested standard and wine serving equipment clean and in working order.
Supervise the wine and water service of the whole restaurant assisted by sommeliers to ensure a smooth, professional level of service.

Follow abc kitchens and The Emory standards of service and delivery, maintaining budget goals, LQA and Forbes standards.
