Job Overview

Duties

Deliver personalised hair styling and barbering services tailored to each client’s preferences and needs
Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with clients professionally and courteously
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, adhering to health and safety standards
Consult with clients to understand their desired outcomes and offer expert advice on styles, colours, and treatments
Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and products in hairdressing and barbering
Manage appointment schedules efficiently, ensuring timely service delivery
Promote additional services or products that may benefit clients’ hair care routines
Ensure compliance with all salon policies and procedures, including hygiene standards

Skills

Proven experience in customer service within the beauty or hairdressing industry
Skilled in hair styling and barbering techniques, with a keen eye for detail
Excellent communication skills in English, capable of effectively engaging with diverse clients
Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating professionalism and a friendly demeanour
Ability to listen carefully to clients’ requests and provide customised advice
Organised with the ability to manage multiple appointments efficiently
A proactive attitude towards learning new skills and staying current with industry trends
Reliable team player who can work independently when required
