Full job description

Main Responsibilities

Interpret site surveys and drawings
Viewing and interpreting site photos
Creation of designs from concept sketch to CAD
Create accompanying information to support the design explanation
Understanding the principles of what is to be achieved and what is shown on the drawings can be built
Compliance with CDM regulations
Liaise with the commercial team on design issues and changes

Ideal Candidate

HNC / Degree within a suitable Engineering discipline or working towards
2 years experience within a construction design related role
Good knowledge of AutoCAD
Produced structural element load calculations
Good visualisation skills with a creative approach to work, finding design solutions
Meet deadlines
Attention to detail to deliver high levels of accuracy and quality
Strong communication skills
Ability to collaborate with others
Full UK driving licence
