About Us

BMS Services Limited is a trusted name in the design, manufacture, and installation of busbar systems, delivering power distribution solutions to data centres, industrial facilities, and critical infrastructure projects across the UK. As demand for reliable, high-capacity power distribution continues to grow, we're expanding our commercial team — and we want an experienced dealmaker to lead the charge.

The Opportunity

This isn't an entry-level sales role. We're looking for a seasoned Business Development Manager who already understands technical sales cycles, ideally within electrical infrastructure, power distribution, construction, or M&E sectors. You'll be the face of BMS Services Limited to new and existing clients, identifying opportunities, building lasting relationships, and closing deals that directly shape our growth trajectory.

Experience is everything for this role. We need someone who can walk into a room with contractors, consultants, or facilities directors and speak their language from day one — no lengthy ramp-up required.

What You'll Be Doing

Proactively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the busbar and power distribution market
Building and maintaining a strong pipeline with main contractors, M&E consultants, data centre operators, and industrial clients
Leading commercial negotiations from first contact through to contract close
Representing BMS Services Limited at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings
Working closely with our engineering and project delivery teams to ensure proposals are technically sound and commercially competitive
Reporting on pipeline, forecasts, and market intelligence to senior leadership

What We're Looking For

Proven track record (5+ years) in business development or technical sales, ideally within busbar, switchgear, electrical distribution, M&E, or construction sectors
Demonstrable experience winning and managing high-value contracts
A strong existing network within the electrical infrastructure or construction industry is highly desirable
Confident, consultative sales approach — you build trust, not just pipeline
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites and projects
