The Recipe (About the Role)
Play a key role in shaping a safer, more informed workplace by managing and continuously improving Environment, Health and Safety data, systems, and reporting. You will ensure data is accurate, accessible, and transformed into meaningful insights that provides judgement across the organisation.
By reviewing operational Environment, Health and Safety data and creating impactful dashboards and reports, you will help increase visibility of risks, trends, and opportunities, enabling teams to make informed and proactive judgement.
Through strong data governance, reporting, and insight, you will contribute to the successful delivery of the Environment, Health and Safety strategy and assist the organisation's Goal Zero target.

Maintain and enhance Environmental, Health and Safety systems and reporting platforms, including Safe Contractor, Contractor Inductions, Intelex, OLAS, Prime and Sevron, ensuring they remain accurate, reliable and user-friendly.

Manage Environmental, Health and Safety data across multiple sites, promoting consistent standards, data entry practices and high levels of accuracy, completeness and integrity through regular validation and quality checks.

Produce accurate and timely Environmental, Health and Safety performance reports, dashboards and visual summaries, providing clear insight into key metrics such as incident rates, environmental performance, audit outcomes, action tracking and key performance indicators.

Evaluate performance data to identify trends, emerging risks and opportunities for improvement, delivering actionable insights that assist informed judgement.

Monitor and report on progress against Environmental, Health and Safety improvement programmes, helping to drive continuous performance improvement across the business.

Provide site and leadership teams with accessible, evidence-based insights that assist operational and strategic priorities.

Assist colleagues with training, guidance and troubleshooting to maximise effective use of Environmental, Health and Safety systems and reporting tools.

Work with site and central Environmental, Health and Safety teams to ensure consistent performance monitoring, reporting standards and data governance.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of Environmental, Health and Safety systems, reporting tools and data structures, helping to strengthen reporting capability and user experience.

Assist the digitalisation and automation of Environmental, Health and Safety reporting and data processes, improving efficiency, accuracy and accessibility of information.

Deliver reviews and insight that assists Environmental, Health and Safety improvement initiatives, governance activities and long-term strategic goals.
The Ingredients (What we need from you)
Key Know How:

Data analysis, reporting systems, and data management tools.

Advanced Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills.

Data visualisation tools, such as Microsoft Power BI.

Knowledge of Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) performance metrics and key indicators.

Data accuracy, validation, and governance guidelines.

Experience using data analysis, reporting, or management systems.

Experience assisting dashboards, reporting, and performance monitoring.

Experience using data insights to assist judgement and continuous improvement.

Experience within EHS, compliance or operational environment (Desirable)
