This is your opportunity to play a pivotal role in one of Belfast’s most recent boutique hotel openings.

Who Are We?

The Bedford Hotel Belfast is a prestigious boutique hotel set within the iconic Scottish Mutual Building in the heart of the city. With 82 beautifully appointed bedrooms, a destination restaurant, café/bar, and exclusive private dining rooms, The Bedford Hotel Belfast is setting new standards for hospitality in Northern Ireland.

Role Responsibilities

As a Kitchen Porter, you’ll maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in all kitchen areas by following established procedures each day set by the Head Chef.

You’ll have a positive mentality and can-do attitude supporting the rest of the Kitchen Team with any tasks as required.
To work the sections, ensuring that pot-wash standards are dealt with efficiently, always ensuring utmost cleanliness.
Display efficient working practices and ensure all the kitchen, utensils, cookware, and crockery are properly cleaned in a timely manner.
Support the Head Chef with stock taking and storage of stock, including checking deliveries.
To assist in ensuring a high level of Health Safety, cleanliness and food hygiene and to ensure that safe working practices are followed.
Be aware of COSHH regulations and use of PPE.
To carry out any other reasonable duties within the overall function of the job.

Key Requirements

Previous experience preferred.
To be able to work in a fast-paced environment and to enjoy it.
To be able to work independently, being self-motivated to complete the tasks.
Flexibility- to enjoy working different shift patterns and seeing the operation on different days of the week including the weekends.
