Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving high-quality beverages, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and customer service to develop their skills within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences
Greet guests warmly and take drink orders efficiently
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards
Check identification to verify legal drinking age and prevent underage sales
Handle cash and card transactions accurately, providing correct change where applicable
Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service throughout shifts
Engage with guests to create a friendly atmosphere, promoting repeat business
Follow all health and safety regulations, including food safety procedures

Requirements

Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple orders efficiently
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
Proven time management abilities to ensure prompt service during busy periods
Personal qualities such as friendliness, professionalism, and reliability are essential
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required
