Full job description

Office Administrator (Job Share)

Location: Hasland, Chesterfield

Hours: 2.5 days per week (Job Share) – Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm, working on a rota. The successful candidate will work 2.5 days each week, with days rotating to ensure cover across the business.

Pay: From £13.50 per hour, with a salary review after 6 months.

About the Role

Naylor’s Transport Group Ltd and Hasland MOT Centre Ltd are looking for a friendly, organised and customer-focused Office Administrator to join our team in a permanent job share role.

Working as part of a job share, you will work 2.5 days per week on a rota, sharing responsibility with another Office Administrator to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of both businesses. Good communication and a thorough handover between colleagues will be essential to providing excellent customer service.

This is a varied and fast-paced role where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities

Be the first point of contact for customers by telephone, email and in person.

Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries for both Hasland MOT Centre and Naylor’s Transport Group Ltd.

Prepare and send customer quotations.

Raise and process customer invoices.

Book MOTs, servicing and repair work using Garage Hive.

Schedule transport bookings and enter them into the company calendar.

Allocate daily work to drivers and ensure they have all the information they need.

Keep customer records accurate and up to date.

Work closely with your job share colleague to ensure a seamless handover and continuity of service.

Carry out general office administration and support the wider team as required.

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

Has excellent customer service and communication skills.

Is organised, proactive and able to prioritise a busy workload.

Has good computer skills, including Microsoft Office and email.

Has excellent attention to detail.

Is reliable, professional and enjoys working as part of a team.

Has previous administration or customer service experience.

Experience with Garage Hive would be an advantage, although full training will be provided.

What We Offer

Starting pay of £13.50 per hour.

Pay review after six months.

Permanent job share position (2.5 days per week on a rotating rota).

No weekend working.
