Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and motivated individual to join our team as a Bartender/Server/Shift Lead. This dynamic role combines the art of crafting exceptional drinks, providing outstanding customer service, and leading by example during your shift. You will create a lively, welcoming atmosphere for guests while ensuring smooth operations and maintaining high standards of hospitality. As a key team member, you’ll be responsible for delivering memorable experiences, managing responsibilities efficiently, and supporting your colleagues to foster a vibrant environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, fun setting while contributing to a positive guest experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve beverages with precision, creativity, and adherence to food safety standards
Take food and drink orders accurately, ensuring prompt and friendly service to all guests
Maintain a clean, organised bar and dining area, following sanitation protocols at all times
Assist in managing shift operations, including opening or closing procedures and cash handling
Support team members in delivering exceptional hospitality by providing guidance and leadership when needed
Monitor guest interactions to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly
Collaborate with the team to manage time effectively during busy hours, ensuring efficient service flow

Experience

Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper serving techniques is a plus
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during shifts
Basic math skills for handling payments, tabs, and inventory counts accurately
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism
