Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in retail or sales management. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our organisation by supporting daily operations, supervising staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The Assistant Manager will be instrumental in maintaining high standards of organisation, merchandising, and team management across our outlets.

Responsibilities

Support the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations to ensure smooth functioning.
Supervise and motivate team members, fostering a positive working environment that encourages high performance.
Assist with staff training programmes, including onboarding and ongoing development initiatives.
Manage sales targets and implement strategies to maximise revenue and optimise merchandising displays.
Ensure excellent customer service by maintaining high standards of phone etiquette and communication with clients.
Organise work schedules, delegate tasks efficiently, and monitor team productivity to meet organisational goals.
Oversee stock levels, organise stock replenishment, and ensure accurate inventory management.
Handle administrative duties such as reporting, record keeping, and supporting compliance with company policies.
Contribute to visual merchandising efforts to enhance the shopping experience and promote key products or promotions.
Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction is maintained.

Experience

Proven management experience within retail or sales environments, with a focus on team supervision and leadership roles.
Demonstrable organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively under pressure.
Strong communication skills in multiple languages are highly desirable; bilingual candidates will be preferred.
Experience in merchandising, sales management, or retail management is advantageous.
Previous administrative experience coupled with excellent phone etiquette is essential for success in this role.
Familiarity with time management techniques and organisational tools will support efficient store operations.
