Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within residential or commercial premises, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and presentation. This role offers flexible hours suitable for individuals seeking part-time employment, with opportunities to develop skills in cleaning and customer service. The successful applicant will be reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to providing excellent service in a professional environment.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
Change bed linens and organise furnishings to ensure a welcoming environment
Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning products as needed
Maintain cleanliness of communal areas
Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
Assist with specialised cleaning tasks such as carpet or upholstery cleaning when required
Ensure all cleaning equipment is used properly and stored securely after use

Skills

Previous experience in janitorial or hotel housekeeping is advantageous but not essential
Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and products
Customer service skills to interact politely with clients or guests when necessary
Organised with excellent attention to detail to maintain high standards of cleanliness
