JOB VACANCY – Chef de Partie

We are currently looking for a passionate Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented chef with a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and a genuine passion for producing high-quality food in a fast-paced restaurant/gastropub environment.

We pride ourselves on producing high-quality food completely from scratch using fresh, carefully sourced ingredients. We avoid pre-prepared products wherever possible, giving our chefs the opportunity to develop genuine culinary skills and techniques in a hands-on kitchen environment.

Our Head chef, Jimmy, is passionate about developing chefs and creating an environment where learning never stops. From day-to-day service to new techniques and menu development, you'll be encouraged to grow, improve and build your skills continuously as part of the team.

About the Role

As Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for confidently running your own section while working closely with the Head Chef and wider kitchen team to deliver exceptional dishes and maintain consistently high standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Running and managing your section efficiently during service

- Working alongside the Head Chef to execute menus to the highest standard

- Contributing ideas for new dishes and menu development

- Ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality food

- Maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness standards

- Supporting a positive and professional team environment

- Ensuring compliance with all current food safety and hygiene regulations

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or Commis experience

- Strong culinary skills across multiple kitchen sections

- The ability to stay calm and organised under pressure

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- High standards of cleanliness, presentation, and professionalism

- A passion for fresh food and the hospitality industry

- Basic Food Hygiene certification preferred
