Full job description

Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Bar Staff to join our vibrant team in a busy hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering excellent customer service, a good knowledge of food safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a lively setting. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills whilst contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Duties

Serve drinks and refreshments to customers in a friendly and professional manner
Take orders accurately and ensure timely delivery of beverages
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area according to health and safety regulations
Check identification to verify legal drinking age
Handle cash and card transactions efficiently using the POS system
Restock bar supplies as needed and manage stock levels effectively
Assist with setting up and clearing tables during busy periods
Ensure compliance with food safety standards at all times
Provide excellent customer service, addressing guest needs promptly and courteously

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided
Knowledge of food safety procedures and standards is advantageous
Experience in serving drinks and handling cash transactions is beneficial
Strong organisational skills with good time management abilities
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour
Basic maths skills for handling payments accurately
