We are looking for a fabulous Maintenance Assistant to join our team at The Mitre, Hampton Court.

You will:

Support the Maintenance or Facilities Manager in ensuring all allocated tasks are completed on schedule and to the highest standard.
Be comfortable working independently, but also within a wider team of Maintenance Assistants, Gardeners at any given time.
Be agile in responding to emergency maintenance calls, this includes internal teams, and external or third party contractors.
Be guest focused and approachable, whilst ensuring discretion and awareness of our guests' time and privacy during their stay with us.
Regularly conduct troubleshooting to solve minor technical, internal, or exterior issues (e.g, guest bedrooms, to the kitchen, to the bar).
Remain calm under pressure, or when responding to urgent tasks, including power cuts or similar.
Plan and oversee renovations and construction projects.
Show initiative and problem-solving capabilities.
Ensure all Company rules and regulations relating to Hygiene, Health and Safety are being followed.
Regularly conduct tests on all equipment and machinery ensuring it is safe to use, and does not pose any dangers to individuals.
