Join Bluespires – We’re doing IT differently

We're looking for a client focused and experienced Technical Consultant to provide both reactive and proactive support through onsite visits, to a variety of clients.

This is a high‑visibility consultancy role responsible for taking ownership of clients, actions and outcomes including complex and high‑priority technical challenges. If you are a calm and assured person who works well under pressure and to tight deadlines, with proven and exceptional client facing skills, we’d love to hear from you.

About the role

You will be a trusted advisor to our clients, routinely visiting them on site to resolve issues, discuss IT strategy and make recommendations. You'll also deliver complex projects with the support of the consultancy team.

Adopt the role of IT Manager for your allocated clients.
Take ownership of your own diary to ensure all work is delivered based on the clients requirements.
Collaborate with the Consultancy Manager and the wider Bluespires team to ensure client satisfaction.
Identify, reommend and implement improvements for your clients IT set up.
Deliver technical projects for clients, including infrastructure installations, migrations and cyber security reviews.

About you

Ability to own and progress multiple complex or high-impact issues concurrently while keeping clients and internal stakeholders informed.
Demonstrable experience of successfully developing and maintaining client relationships.
Skilled at prioritising and managing a busy, changeable workload, balancing urgent issues with longer-term project commitments."
A natural collaborator, comfortable working as part of a wider team and sharing knowledge to support colleagues and clients alike
Strong troubleshooting capability across Microsoft 365, Windows desktop, and Windows Server environments.
Good understanding of Windows Server roles and services, including: Active Directory / Entra ID hybrid environments, DNS and DHCP.
Experience supporting virtualised environments, including: Hyper-V, Azure infrastructure (IaaS / VM concepts).
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including: DHCP and DNS, VLANs and subnetting concepts, VPN fundamentals.
Relevant, up to date IT related qualifications.
Have a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
