Are you passionate about technology and looking for your first step into the IT industry?

At EC Business Solutions, we're looking for an enthusiastic and motivated IT Support Technician Apprentice to join our growing IT team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced business while working towards a recognised IT qualification.

No previous commercial IT experience is required – we're looking for someone with a genuine interest in technology, a willingness to learn and a positive attitude. We'll provide the training, support and real-world experience you need to build a successful career in IT.

What You'll Be Doing

Working alongside our experienced IT team, you'll:

Provide first-line technical support to colleagues across the business.
Help diagnose and resolve hardware, software and IT-related issues.
Log, track and manage support requests through our service desk.
Set up and configure laptops, desktops, mobile devices and other IT equipment.
Support Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel.
Assist with user account administration, password resets and access permissions.
Help maintain IT equipment and asset records.
Support software installations, updates and system maintenance.
Assist with basic network troubleshooting under supervision.
Produce IT documentation and user guides.
Learn from experienced professionals while completing your apprenticeship programme.

Essential Requirements

GCSE Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
A genuine interest in IT and technology.
Basic knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office applications.
The legal right to work in the UK.
Eligible to undertake an apprenticeship (eligibility will be confirmed by the training provider).

Pay: £18,000.00 per year
