Our Team:

The Legal team at Halton Borough Council plays a vital role in supporting the Authority by delivering high-quality, timely, and business-focused legal and procedural advice. We are looking for a Paralegal to manage cases, support legal drafting, liaise with stakeholders, prepare court documents, and ensure compliance with legal procedures, all while contributing to a collaborative team environment. The team is committed to delivering advice in a cost-effective and efficient manner, ensuring best value for the Council while helping to meet the complex and evolving needs of the community.

Hours: 37 - Hybrid working

Your Contributions:

Hold a Law degree, CILEX qualification, or equivalent, or have significant casework experience
Bring experience in transactional casework within Adult Law
Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in handling enquiries from clients and third parties
Show high attention to detail and accuracy
Be highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Take a proactive, collaborative, and solution-focused approach to working within a team
Be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and preferably Excel
Have experience using document and case management systems
