Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Patrol Officer to maintain safety and security across designated premises. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring activities, preventing loss, and responding promptly to incidents. This role offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic environment, ensuring the safety of staff, visitors, and property through proactive surveillance and effective incident management. The position is paid and suitable for individuals committed to upholding high standards of security and public safety.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular patrols of the premises, on foot to identify any suspicious activity or security breaches.
Respond swiftly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents.
Maintain detailed records of patrols, incidents, and observations in accordance with organisational procedures.
Enforce company policies and security protocols consistently while maintaining a professional presence.
Liaise with emergency services as required during incidents or investigations.

Experience

Previous experience in security is advantageous but not essential; comprehensive training will be provided.
Demonstrated ability to remain calm under pressure and handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.
Good organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and incident reporting. This role offers an engaging environment for individuals dedicated to maintaining safety standards through vigilant observation and swift action. Candidates should be committed to continuous learning and upholding the highest levels of integrity within their duties.
