TALENT ACQUISITION & HR COORDINATOR

Location: Woodbury, Exeter (Office-Based)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: £28,000–£35,000 per annum + commission

Join Briggs Fire & Security

Briggs Fire & Security is a growing national provider of fire and security services, and we're looking for a proactive Talent Acquisition & HR Coordinator to join our team in Exeter.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with recruitment or HR experience who enjoys finding great people, building relationships, and supporting employees throughout their journey. Recruitment will be your primary focus, with additional responsibility for day-to-day HR administration.

What You'll Be Doing

Proactively sourcing and attracting engineering talent across the UK.
Managing job adverts on platforms such as Indeed, LinkedIn and Facebook.
Screening candidates and coordinating interviews with hiring managers.
Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of engineering candidates.
Supporting the onboarding of new employees and ensuring compliance checks are completed.
Maintaining accurate recruitment and employee records.
Assisting with probation reviews, absence recording and general HR administration.
Working closely with managers to support recruitment and people initiatives.

About You

You will ideally have:

Previous experience in recruitment, resourcing or HR.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Confidence using job boards and social media to source candidates.
A proactive, target-driven approach and the ability to build strong relationships.
Good IT skills and experience using CRM or applicant tracking systems (Salesforce experience is an advantage but not essential).

Experience recruiting engineers or other technical roles would be beneficial but isn't essential.
