Full job description

Sales Administrator (Entry Level) — Rose Marketing UK Limited

Full-time · 6-month fixed-term contract · On-site · Up to £12.71 per hour

Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour (equivalent to approx. £24,784 per year based on 37.5 hours per week)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Contract: Fixed-term, 6 months

Job type: 9am-5.30pm. Full-time, temporary

About the role

This is a great first step into a career in sales support and office administration — no previous experience needed. You’ll be the vital link between our customers, our sales team and our warehouse, making sure orders run smoothly from the moment they come in to the moment they’re despatched. If you’re organised, enjoy talking to people and like the idea of learning how a busy business really works, we’d love to hear from you. We’ll give you full training and support along the way.

What you’ll be doing

· Accurately entering and processing customer warehouse orders into our system

· Generating and sending invoices for orders via the warehouse

· Coordinating with our warehouse and logistics teams to make sure orders are despatched on time and any issues are resolved

· Keeping account managers updated on order status, delays or issues

· Liaising with our finance team on credit checks, payment queries and disputes

· Answering questions from customers and colleagues, or passing them to the right person to help

· Running daily stock and outstanding order reports and sharing them with the sales team

· Any other ad hoc duties required to support the team

You’ll also be trained to cover the following tasks during busy periods, holidays and staff absence, so the team keeps running smoothly:

· Upkeep of generic and customer-specific price sheets, including quarterly updates

· Day-to-day management of CHEP pallet accounts, including dehiring

· Management of deboxed stock and keeping the debox records up to date

· Entry, processing and tracking of direct orders

· Liaising with the shipping team on delays to direct orders and updating account managers on any issues

· Landing direct stock and invoicing customers

· Distributing the daily orders value to the sales team by email

What we’re looking for

· A friendly, positive attitude and a willingness to learn — experience is not required

· Good attention to detail and a methodical, organised approach

· Confident communication skills, both on the phone and by email

· Comfortable using a computer (basic Microsoft Office / email skills are helpful)

· A team player who’s happy to pitch in and keep things moving

· Reliable and able to work at a steady pace in a busy environment
