Job Summary

Construction Take Off Estimator / Quantity Surveyor with experience in the Construction Industry

Please note: This is in person, on site vacancy and not a remote vacancy. You will be required to attend the office at CF72.

We are a SME Construction Company who carry our new build and refurbishment and are seeking an Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in estimating for commercial tenders, mainly for the NHS and Local Authorities.

Prepare quotations for new build and refurbishment
Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labour, and overheads.
Monitor project expenses and implement cost control measures to ensure financial efficiency.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to gather necessary information for accurate budgeting.
Prepare tender documents and assist in the selection of contractors through competitive bidding processes.
Prepare valuations
Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and project documentation.

Experience

Experience in estimating / quantity surveying in the construction industry is essential
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations affecting the industry.
Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
Effective communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders and present findings clearly.
