Full job description

We are looking for an experienced and highly organised HMO Manager to join our team in an office-based role. This position is ideal for someone with previous HMO management experience who can confidently oversee the day-to-day administration and compliance of a growing HMO property portfolio.

You will play a key role in ensuring our properties remain compliant, well managed and professionally operated while acting as the main point of contact for staff, tenants and regulatory bodies.

Essential Requirements (Applicants who do not meet these requirements will not be considered):

Previous HMO management experience is essential.
Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload.
Confident using Microsoft Office and email systems.
Professional and proactive approach to problem solving.
Right to work in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing the day-to-day administration of our HMO portfolio.
Liaising with local authorities, licensing teams, contractors and other regulatory bodies.
Ensuring compliance documentation and property records are kept up to date.
Handling emails, telephone calls and correspondence.
Managing staff, allocating work and monitoring performance.
Preparing and processing remittances, invoices and other financial paperwork.
Coordinating maintenance requests and following up to ensure work is completed.
Maintaining accurate records, reports and compliance documentation.
Supporting the directors with the smooth running of the business.
