Self-Employed Consultancy | Performance-Led | Nottingham and East Midlands

Clinica Vitalis is a doctor-led private healthcare clinic based in Nottingham.

The clinic provides:

Private GP services
Medical dermatology
Skin and laser treatments
Weight management
Hormonal health
Sleep medicine
Minor surgery
Diagnostics

The clinic has established its clinical infrastructure, CQC registration, premises, equipment, website and clinical pathways.

The next phase is to build sustainable professional referral networks, corporate relationships and healthcare partnerships that generate measurable patient activity and revenue.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced healthcare commercial professional who can open doors, engage senior decision-makers and convert opportunities into active referral pathways and commercial agreements.

The consultant will work directly with the Clinic Director to identify priority B2B channels, agree which services should be promoted and develop propositions that respond to genuine partner needs.

The role is suited to an independent consultant, portfolio professional, former healthcare business development manager or experienced healthcare salesperson seeking flexible consultancy work with meaningful performance-based earnings.

Responsibilities

The consultant will:

Identify and prioritise credible B2B and professional referral opportunities.
Develop relationships with GPs, consultants, dentists, pharmacies, allied healthcare professionals, employers, private hospitals and relevant healthcare organisations.
Secure meetings with decision-makers.
Understand partner needs and identify suitable Clinica Vitalis services or pathways.
Recommend which services and partner channels should receive priority.
Develop and present partnership propositions using agreed clinical and commercial parameters.
Negotiate referral pathways, pilot arrangements and commercial agreements.
Progress opportunities from initial discussion through to implementation.
Support the launch of agreed partnerships.
Maintain an accurate commercial pipeline in the clinic’s CRM.
Report on pipeline movement, barriers, next actions and attributable commercial outcomes.

The focus is on building relationships and converting opportunities, rather than producing contact lists or completing routine marketing tasks.

Support Provided

Clinica Vitalis will provide:

Clinical and service information
Approved pricing and commercial parameters
CQC and governance documentation
CRM access
AI-assisted research and administrative support
Partner-facing materials and proposal templates
Professional clinic email account
Clinic meeting facilities
Clinical input where required
Direct access to the Clinic Director
Regular commercial review meetings

What Success Looks Like

Success may include:

Qualified decision-maker meetings
Professional referral relationships established
Corporate and employer opportunities developed
Partnership proposals requested
Pilot arrangements agreed
Referral pathways activated
Commercial agreements implemented
Attributable patient activity
Attributable collected revenue
Repeatable B2B channels established

Activity without credible commercial progression will not be treated as success.

Candidate Profile

Applicants should demonstrate:

Experience originating and progressing healthcare B2B opportunities

Experience managing a structured commercial pipeline
Ability to translate broad clinical services into clear partner propositions
Commercial judgement and independent working
Understanding of healthcare governance, confidentiality and professional boundaries
Familiarity with Nottinghamshire or the East Midlands would be advantageous

Remuneration

The engagement includes:

£500 monthly retainer
Milestone payments for meaningful commercial progression
Performance-based commission on qualifying attributable collected revenue
Revenue share on selected qualifying agreements
Quarterly accelerator bonuses for exceeding agreed thresholds
No equity

The remuneration model rewards measurable commercial impact rather than time spent. Full terms and attribution rules will be agreed before appointment.

Contract Structure

Self-employed consultancy agreement
Initial three-month pilot
14 days’ notice during the pilot
Flexible hybrid working
Local travel where required
No broad exclusivity
Proportionate restrictions relating to directly competing local clinics
Confidentiality and non-solicitation obligations
All CRM records, commercial data, proposals and intellectual property remain the property of Clinica Vitalis
The consultant remains responsible for their own tax, National Insurance and professional obligations

Reporting Line

Reports directly to the Clinic Director.
