Senior Care Administrator – Office & Community

£29,250 per annum (£15.00 per hour)
Full-Time | 37.5 Hours per Week
Office & Community Based
Paid Business Travel Time + Mileage

Ready to Progress from Care into an Office-Based Role?

We are looking for an experienced, organised and dependable care professional who has strong administrative and computer skills and would like to progress into a role combining office administration with hands-on domiciliary care.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Care Worker, Senior Care Worker, Care Coordinator or Care Administrator who enjoys care but would also like to develop their administrative responsibilities.

The role will normally involve approximately 3 days working in the office and 2 days supporting care in the community, depending on the operational needs of the service.

Please note: this is not an office-only position. You must be willing and able to provide hands-on personal care in clients' homes.

Office & Administration Duties

Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing and checking client invoices
Using Microsoft Excel to maintain spreadsheets and records
Checking care hours before invoicing
Monitoring staff logging in and out of care visits
Following up late, missed or incomplete visits
Assisting with timesheets and payroll information
Maintaining accurate staff and client records
Answering telephone calls and responding to queries
Supporting the management team with general administration
Using our electronic care-management systems
Learning and using Xero for invoicing and related administrative tasks

Good Microsoft Excel skills are essential.

Previous Xero experience is desirable but not essential, as training can be provided.

Community Care Responsibilities

You will also:

Provide high-quality domiciliary care in clients' homes
Provide care cover when required
Support continuity of care during staffing shortages
Complete accurate care records
Report concerns appropriately
Support carers and help maintain high standards of service delivery

What We Are Looking For

You must:

Have previous domiciliary care experience
Be willing and comfortable providing personal care
Have good Microsoft Excel and general computer skills
Be confident working with figures and invoices
Have excellent attention to detail
Be reliable, organised and able to prioritise
Communicate professionally with staff, clients and families
Be able to work independently and use your initiative
Be flexible when operational needs change
Hold a full UK driving licence
Have access to a suitable vehicle for work
Meet the required DBS, training and competency requirements

Salary & Benefits

£29,250 per annum (£15.00 per hour based on 37.5 hours per week)
