Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. In this vital role, you will take ownership of specific sections within the kitchen, ensuring the consistent preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes. Your culinary expertise, attention to detail, and enthusiasm for food will contribute to delivering an exceptional dining experience for our guests. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your cooking talents, develop your skills, and work in a vibrant, fast-paced environment dedicated to culinary excellence.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook dishes within your designated section, maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
Follow recipes, portion controls, and plating specifications accurately to ensure consistency
Maintain cleanliness and organization of your work station in compliance with food safety regulations
Assist in the training and mentoring of junior kitchen staff to foster a collaborative team environment
Support the overall kitchen operations during service hours, ensuring timely meal preparation and serving
Monitor inventory levels for your section and communicate supply needs to the head chef or sous chef
Adhere strictly to food safety standards, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen setting
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and meal preparation methods
Prior kitchen experience in a restaurant or similar food service environment is highly desirable
Familiarity with food safety protocols and hygiene standards
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Ability to serve guests with professionalism and enthusiasm for delivering exceptional service
A genuine passion for culinary arts and continuous learning in the hospitality industry

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per hour
