Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and friendly Bar Assistant to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be the heartbeat of the bar experience, ensuring guests receive exceptional service in a lively environment. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create memorable moments for our patrons while maintaining a safe and welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and take beverage orders with enthusiasm and efficiency
Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, tools, and supplies
Follow food safety protocols to ensure a hygienic environment at all times
Manage cash transactions accurately using basic math skills for billing and change handling
Assist in restocking supplies and monitoring inventory levels to ensure smooth service flow
Support team members during busy periods by providing timely assistance and maintaining a positive attitude

Skills

Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is highly desirable
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in beverage preparation
Excellent serving skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
Strong time management abilities to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy services
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
Basic math skills for handling payments and managing cash register operations
Good communication skills to interact confidently with guests and colleagues
