Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Female Support Worker (Drivers Only) to join our family run friendly & compassionate team serving Stamford Bridge and surrounding villages. This vital role involves providing personalized care and assistance to clients in their homes, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. As a driver, you will facilitate transportation for appointments, errands, and social activities, enabling clients to maintain independence and quality of life. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you support while working in a dynamic and rewarding environment. A Company vehicle is provided.

Responsibilities

Safely transport clients to medical appointments, social outings, shopping trips, and other activities across Stamford Bridge and nearby villages.
Deliver high-quality personal care tailored to individual needs, including assistance with mobility, hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
Develop and follow personalized care plans that promote client independence and respect their preferences.
Monitor clients’ health status, report any changes or concerns promptly to relevant healthcare professionals.
Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, medication administration, and transportation logs.
Foster positive relationships with clients by offering companionship, emotional support, and engaging activities.
Ensure the safety of clients during all interactions and adhere strictly to health and safety protocols.

Requirements

Valid driving license with clean driving record; experience driving various vehicle types preferred.
Prior experience in care settings such as nursing homes, care homes, or home care services is highly desirable although training can be provided.
Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration procedures, and patient care practices.
Certifications in first aid and dementia or Alzheimer’s care are advantageous.
Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks required for caregiving duties.
Strong communication skills with the ability to manage behavior effectively and follow detailed care plans.
Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support seniors and individuals with complex health needs.
