Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Waiting Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, friendly interactions, and efficient support. Your energy and professionalism will ensure every guest feels welcomed, valued, and satisfied from the moment they arrive until they leave. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills in a dynamic environment while contributing to memorable dining experiences.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a positive attitude
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems or order pads
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in during their meal and addressing any special requests or concerns
Upsell menu items and specials to enhance the guest experience and increase sales opportunities
Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service stations, and dining areas throughout shifts
Follow food safety protocols diligently, including proper handling, serving, and sanitation procedures
Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food preparation and delivery
Assist with basic food preparation tasks when needed to support kitchen operations
Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple tables efficiently while providing attentive service

Skills

Strong background in hospitality with previous restaurant or serving experience preferred
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques
Ability to perform basic math accurately for billing, change, and order calculations
Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus
Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
Effective time management skills to handle fast-paced service environments
Culinary knowledge or experience is advantageous for understanding menu items and ingredients
Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and sales performance
