Lead Planning Coordinator – Water Environmental Treatment Ltd (W.E.T)

The Role

As the Lead Planning Coordinator you will have overall responsibility for the effective planning, scheduling and booking in of all works, ensuring field technician’s days are maximised, whilst adhering to company policies and guidelines, with any accompanying permits, hotels or travel arrangements put in place.

You will need to lead, motivate and assist the individuals within the planning team to enable the business to maximise its revenues though exceeding productivity metrics by good decision making and logical thinking.

This will require ensuring that any pre-planned works by the Contracts team are organised as efficiently as possible, along with any works secured by the Sales team.

All works need to be in a reconcilable manner with appropriate systems maintained (such as Collabit and the Planner) to provide accurate information to the management team

In addition to this, you must ensure that all works from the Sales team have reports sent and invoiced in line with SLA’s and KPI’s

Key Responsibilities

Ensure core values, mission statement and correct culture are maintained
Lead, motivate and assist the individuals of the planning team
Perform the month end reconciliation of the diary and provide productivity data
Ensure the diary is planned in line with legislation, guidelines and internal policies
Achieve specified productivity metrics for field technicians within the planner
Ensure that all technicians have suitable works planned and are in line with their skillsets and competencies
Reconcile all works previously carried out to ensure accuracy
Monitor, remediate or advise of contract irregularities in relation to Contracts, Jobsheets and Invoice Schedules for Sales and Contracts teams
Ensure the Order Book is well maintained and tracked, and no works are overlooked
Ensure that the field teams have suitable permits, hotels and travel arrangements in place to effectively carry out their works
Minimise any aborted works through good planning and communication with clients
Ensure all works from the Sales team have reports sent and invoiced in line with SLA’s and KPI’s

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in route planning for field technicians or drivers
Strong people management capability
A logical thinker with strong analytical skills
Capable of making difficult decisions against competing interests
Experience in the compliance, technical services, water industry, transportation sectors advantageous
Good knowledge of MS suites such as Excel
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to interpret technical reports and compliance documentation
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
Comfortable working in a busy and fast-paced office environment
Knowledge of Legionella control or water hygiene (desirable but not essential)
