Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Deputy Manager to join our organisation. The ideal candidate will support the management team in overseeing daily operations, ensuring high standards of service, and fostering a positive environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with leadership qualities and a passion for teaching and development. The Deputy Manager will play a vital part in maintaining organisational efficiency whilst contributing to a dynamic team atmosphere.

Duties

Assist the Manager in coordinating daily operational activities to ensure smooth functioning of the organisation.
Support staff in delivering exceptional service and maintaining organisational standards.
Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism and a strong work ethic to motivate team members.
Oversee scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow management to optimise productivity.
Contribute to staff training programmes, including teaching responsibilities where necessary, to enhance team skills.
Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues promptly to uphold organisational reputation.
Support the implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring compliance across all departments.
Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and performance reviews of staff members.
Assist in organising organisational events or programmes aimed at community engagement or staff development.
Undertake On-call on a rota system

Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a similar environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
