Full job description

Pill Pharmacy is an Independent Community Pharmacy based in Newport and we are looking for the right individual to join our dynamic team. We are looking for an excellent team player who is innovative with great communication skills who would like to excel in their profession and make a difference to patient care.

Full-time and Part-time positions are available for the right candidates. The working hours during the week will be 9-6pm.

Community Pharmacy is in an exciting period, where more clinical services are being offered to improve access to healthcare for our patients. We would like to supplement our team so that we can provide an extended range of NHS and Private services. The position which we are looking to fulfil are for candidates with a passion for pharmacy.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day running of the pharmacy counter and dispensary, which will include:

- Assisting our patients with medication queries and ordering of their medication,

-Managing and utilising the robot as part of their dispensing process,

-Dispensing prescriptions and maintaining appropriate stock levels in the pharmacy,

-Working closely with other members of the pharmacy team,

-Being involved in the dispensing of weekly dossett boxes,

-Maintaining the pharmacy as a clinical environment,

-Involvement in Local Health Board accredited services
