Job Introduction

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Customer Marketing Manager to join William Grant & Sons UK distribution team.

As a Customer Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in building consumer desirability for our portfolio of brands by delivering impactful customer-facing activation programmes. This role sits at the heart of our commercial and marketing agenda, partnering closely with Brand and Sales teams to deliver best-in-class customer activations that bring our brands to life and create meaningful impact for both our customers and consumers.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded marketer who thrives on turning insight into action, building strong stakeholder relationships, and delivering measurable results in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibility

To develop and execute customer activation plans aligned to channel strategies and customer opportunities which drive brand visibility, distribution and conversion through impactful point-of-purchase activations.

Use customer and shopper insights to identify the most effective marketing opportunities and activation levers collaborating with Brand Mangers to shape customer-centric activation plans and support brand strategy execution.

Evaluate post campaign performance and identify opportunities to optimise future activity and ROI.

Own activation planning, tracking and stakeholder communications to ensure smooth delivery and visibility.

Build strong cross-functional relationships and contribute to account management and planning discussions.

Effectively manage budgets, compliance processes and operational controls.

Work collaboratively as part of the Customer Marketing team to drive to collective success.

Our Ideal Candidate

An experienced in Customer, Trade or Shopper Marketing within the Route to Market or On-Trade sector.

Strong commercial acumen and understanding of customer activation strategies and omni channel consumer engagement.

Experience working collaboratively with Sales, Commercial and Brand teams.

Ability to analyse results and translate insights into actionable recommendations.

Excellent project management and prioritisation skills and experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication skills working in a team and with stakeholder management capabilities.

Sound budget management and governance experience.

A proactive, results-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

Positive and solution focused mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality, well-executed customer activations.
