Senior Finance Business Partner – London / South East (Hybrid)

£70,000 – £75,000 + benefits | 4 days on‑site, 1 day WFH

The Coach Travel Group is a growing family of respected local coach operators across the UK. Each business keeps its identity and its people, backed by the strength of a national group built on collaboration, trust and growth.

We are now hiring a Senior Finance Business Partner to support our London and South East operators. This is a senior, visible role working closely with Managing Directors and operational leaders, shaping financial performance and supporting long‑term growth.

The Role

You will lead regional finance activity, guide a small finance team and act as the key commercial partner for our operators. Your work will ensure clarity, accuracy and strong financial control across multi‑site transport operations.

You will:

Partner with operational leaders to explain performance, costs and contract profitability
Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling
Deliver accurate month end reporting, KPIs and commentary
Strengthen governance, controls and balance sheet integrity
Support tenders, investment proposals and strategic decisions
Drive process improvements and smarter ways of working

This is a hands on, relationship driven role where your ability to communicate clearly and influence confidently matters as much as your technical capability.

What You Bring

Strong experience in commercial finance, management accounting or business partnering
Confidence working with senior stakeholders and operational teams
Experience leading or developing finance colleagues
Excellent reporting, budgeting and forecasting skills
A proactive, improvement‑focused mindset
Experience in transport, logistics or multi‑site operations is helpful but not essential
