Location: Rio Grande Banqueting Hall, Bradford BD7

Job Type: Part-Time / Seasonal / Casual (Evenings & Weekends)

Job Summary:Rio Grande Banqueting Hall is seeking enthusiastic, reliable, and customer-focused Waiters/Waitresses to join our hospitality team on a part-time and seasonal basis. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional service at weddings, walimas, mehndi celebrations, birthdays, corporate functions, and private events, ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable experience. Rio Grande hosts events for up to 800 guests and provides full table service with experienced waiting staff.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Set up banqueting tables with crockery, cutlery, glassware and linen before events.
Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service.
Clear tables promptly and keep dining areas clean and presentable throughout events.
Assist with buffet service and beverage stations when required.
Support the kitchen and events team to ensure smooth event operations.
Respond politely and efficiently to guest requests and enquiries.
Follow food hygiene, health and safety, and company procedures at all times.
Assist with cleaning and resetting the venue after events.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high standards of hospitality.

Person Specification

Essential:

Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work well as part of a team.
Smart appearance and high standards of personal presentation.
Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable:

Previous experience in hospitality, banqueting, restaurants, or events.
Knowledge of food hygiene and customer service standards.
Experience working at weddings or large-scale events.
