Job overview

You will be the first point of contact for all administrative issues relating to a patient’s pathway of care. You will be at the forefront of reception checking in and out patients.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will work as part of a team within cardiology and provide expertise in the proactive management of the patient pathway from referral to discharge, ensuring the entire process is managed smoothly. You will be booking in patient tests and booking patient appointments.

The work is fast-paced and can be complex but you will have the opportunity to support our patients and make sure they receive the best possible care.

These roles will ideally suit those with experience within a customer services environment or call centre background with a passion for providing the best possible service to our patients and service users.

We have approximately 350 beds and directly employ around 2,900 staff. Our trust provides a full range of diagnostic services and treatment services. Our main site is the Kingston Hospital site but we also run a number of outpatient clinics in the community, including in Raynes Park, Surbiton, Queen Mary's Roehampton and Teddington.
