Stowey Bears Preschool is a dedicated early childhood education provider in the village of Nether. As a committee-run pre-school, we are committed to creating a nurturing environment where children aged 0-5 years can thrive and reach their full potential. Our small, friendly team values community, development, and the joy of learning.
Summary

We are seeking a passionate Early Years Educator Key Worker to join our team at Stowey Bears Preschool in Nether. This vital role involves supporting children's development and ensuring a safe, engaging learning environment for young learners.
Responsibilities

Plan and implement engaging activities tailored to the developmental needs of children aged 2-5 years.
Support children's emotional, social, and educational development.
Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all children.
Collaborate with colleagues and parents to monitor progress and address individual needs.
Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures.
Promote inclusive practices that respect diversity.
Keep accurate records of children's progress and daily activities.
Qualifications
Proven experience working with young children in a preschool or nursery setting.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Relevant childcare or early childhood education qualifications. (preferred but candidates willing to take on relevant training will be considered)
A caring, patient, and proactive attitude.
Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures.
Driving license is preferred but not essential.
