The Company

The Role

As Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales operation of Restec within the Northwest Region. You will be managing a well-established area with extremely high potential for further growth.

The role will include but not be limited to:

A laser-focused approach to generating new business through the strategic expansion of your merchant customer base;
A natural ability to develop customer relationships and nurture growth by offering exceptional and efficient service;
A strong ability to prioritise actions to focus activity on revenue-generating tasks;
The creation and maintenance of a prospect pipeline;
Identify opportunities with existing customers to generate repeat business and the upselling of additional products within the range;
Work closely with the BDM to capitalise on market opportunities;
Provide support to merchant customers in person, via email and on the phone, and to be selective when engaging with other stakeholders, balancing customer support with your own productivity;
Manage Restec’s unique sales process to retain and build on existing business, leaving no room for opportunities for your competitors;
Report on successes across a number of Restec’s products, be responsible for each product to reach targets
Confident in delivering presentations in person and via Teams to achieve predetermined sales objectives;
Support Company culture wholeheartedly, sharing the company’s vision and values with staff and encouraging a positive working environment;
Work closely with the training and technical department to build a loyal contractor network, and engage in “back selling” when appropriate to add value to your merchant customers;
Attend regular TPM’s (Tactical Planning Meetings) and implement tasks set by the BDM and Director;
Attend trade and social events;
Provide reporting to the BDM to ensure transparency throughout the business and to show an understanding of the territory and its ever-changing market conditions

Key skills Required

Highly motivated with a drive to smash sales targets and enjoy the rewards of doing so;
Enthusiasm and a proactive approach to work, with an understanding of the value of maintaining a strong pipeline of new sales opportunities;
Proven sales experience ideally within a similar role but full training and support will be given to the right candidate;
Taking an honest approach to business and conducting yourself with integrity;
Flexibility towards tasks with the ability to work effectively using own initiative;
Capable, confident and energetic with excellent communication and organisation skills and attention to detail;
Superb communication and customer service skills;
Problem solving skills
Ability to negotiate with customers to achieve desirable results for them and the company;
Familiar with Sales-i or alternative CRM systems;
Strong organisational and prioritisation skills;
Flat roofing knowledge is desirable
Full Driving License
Microsoft Office/365 knowledge

Location: Northwest coverage – ideally based Liverpool - Manchester

Salary: £50K - £55k Dependent on experience

Pay: £50,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
