Full job description

We are looking for a PHP developer to join our team, supporting and maintaining existing systems with some ad hoc feature development as the role progresses.

Skills Required

PHP (OOP preferred)
MySQL
MVC knowledge (CodeIgniter experience ideal, but any MVC framework is transferable)
Basic WordPress knowledge
FTP
GitHub

The successful applicant will have a solid understanding of PHP to carry out fixes and improvements to our systems. No large-scale development work is expected in the early stages of the role. CodeIgniter experience is a bonus, but candidates with experience in other MVC frameworks are encouraged to apply.

Role Responsibilities

PHP updates and maintenance
Server maintenance (supported by a managed hosting team)
CodeIgniter framework maintenance and updates
Ad hoc feature development and bug fixes
MySQL management, including custom reporting and data retrieval
WordPress maintenance
Application testing

Pay: £31,500.00-£35,000.00 per year
