Full job description

Job Description

Associated Production Tools currently have a position for a Sales Order Processor/Administrator. We are located in Hillington, Glasgow very close to Hillington West train station. We are a small but very successful company.

We are looking for a Sales Order Processor/Administrator to join us, experience not necessary as training will be given. We sell tools to the manufacturing industry mainly from our eCommerce website but also via telesales.

Duties include:

Processing orders from our eCommerce website, email, phone, and generate quotations.
Pick and pack orders in the stock room.
Raising invoices and delivery notes, book domestic and international couriers.
Basic admin tasks - Answering telephone calls, helping with customer enquiries, answering emails.
Working as a team.

Please note, this is a fast paced environment and at times can be quite a physical role. Ability to work under pressure and able to work to make deadlines is a must.

Skills required: Experience in a similar role picking/packing orders would be preferred but not essential as full training will be given.

Our IT system consists of Microsoft Office, SAGE 50 Accounts and eCommerce software. Experience is preferred in using these systems but not essential as training will be given, however we would like the candidate to have basic computer skills.

32 hours per week:

Monday-Thursday 8:30am-4:00pm - beat rush hour traffic!

Friday 8:30am-3:30pm

Plus 1 hour lunch break

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Starting salary up to £22,500

Immediate start preffered

20 days paid holiday + 6-8 days over Christmas (we close over Christmas and New Year).

8 Public days holiday.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £22,500.00 per year
