About the Team:
The role sits within the Data & Decision Sciences (DDS) team, responsible for helping Bauer unlock the value of its data across Europe. The team delivers trusted data solutions, insights, and platforms that support business growth, improve audience engagement, and drive operational efficiency.
About the Role:
As Commercial Data Programme Manager, you will coordinate the delivery of Bauer's Commercial Data Programme across multiple markets and lines of business. You will work with cross-functional teams and external partners to plan and deliver a portfolio of data initiatives, ensuring programmes are effectively governed, risks and dependencies are managed, and stakeholders remain informed and engaged throughout delivery.
We're looking for an experienced and organised programme manager with a track record of delivering technology, data, or digital programmes in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment. You'll be comfortable coordinating multiple workstreams, building strong relationships across teams, and keeping delivery on track to achieve successful business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Programme Management
Lead the planning and coordination of commercial data initiatives, ensuring alignment with Bauer's strategic priorities
Define programme objectives, roadmaps, milestones, and success measures with key stakeholders
Work with Delivery Managers and Scrum Masters to align programme plans with day-to-day delivery
Manage programme governance, budgets, risks, dependencies, resources, and third-party suppliers
Monitor programme performance and provide regular updates to senior leadership and governance forums
Represent the Commercial Data Programme at steering committees and cross-functional forums
Stakeholder Management & Communication
Build and maintain strong relationships across Commercial, Product, Technology, Data, Publishing, Audio, Outdoor, and local market teams
Communicate programme progress, risks, and key decisions to stakeholders at all levels
Partner with internal communications teams to promote programme milestones and business value
Cross-Market Collaboration
Coordinate delivery across multiple European markets, balancing local needs with programme priorities
Foster collaboration and drive consistent programme governance, reporting, and ways of working
Act as the primary contact for Commercial Data workstream leads, ensuring alignment with Bauer's strategic objectives and PMO standards
Governance & Change
Maintain effective programme governance, ensuring initiatives are delivered in line with agreed processes
Support business readiness, change, and adoption throughout programme delivery
What You`ll bring:
Proven experience delivering complex technology, data, or digital programmes
Strong programme management expertise using Agile delivery methodologies
Experience managing programme governance, planning, risks, dependencies, budgets, and delivery
Confident managing senior stakeholders and influencing across business and technology teams
Experience working across multiple markets, business functions, and cross-functional teams
Good understanding of commercial data, Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), analytics, and data governance
Commercial awareness, ideally within media, advertising, publishing, or digital businesses
Proficient in programme management tools, including Jira and Monday.com
Excellent planning, communication, and organisational skills
A collaborative, proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
