Full job description

Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Bar Manager to lead our bar operations with enthusiasm and expertise. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily bar activities, managing a talented team, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for hospitality, a strong background in food and beverage service, and proven leadership skills to create a lively, welcoming atmosphere. As a Bar Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food safety, beverage quality, and team performance, all while fostering a vibrant environment that encourages teamwork and excellence.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the bar team to deliver outstanding service while maintaining high standards of hospitality and professionalism
Oversee food preparation and beverage service, ensuring quality and consistency in every drink and dish served
Manage daily operations including inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness in accordance with food safety regulations
Train staff on proper serving techniques, food safety protocols, and customer engagement strategies
Develop creative drink menus, incorporating current trends and customer preferences to enhance the guest experience
Monitor team performance, provide coaching, and foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and leadership
Ensure compliance with all health regulations related to food production, serving standards, and alcohol licensing

Qualifications

Proven supervising experience in a bar or restaurant setting with strong team management skills
Experience in hospitality environments such as restaurants or hotels is highly desirable
Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations governing food production and alcohol service
Demonstrated leadership abilities with excellent communication skills
Background in restaurant or culinary experience with an understanding of kitchen operations is preferred
Previous barista experience or knowledge of beverage crafting is a plus
Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
