Full job description

We are seeking a talented and motivated Web Developer to join our growing technology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining responsive and user-friendly websites and web applications. You will work closely with designers, developers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital solutions that enhance user experience and support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain websites and web applications.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using modern web technologies.
Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to implement website features and functionality.
Ensure websites are responsive, accessible, and optimized for performance across devices and browsers.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve website issues and technical problems.
Integrate APIs, databases, and third-party services as required.
Perform website testing, quality assurance, and ongoing maintenance.
Implement security best practices to protect web applications and user data.
Monitor website performance and recommend improvements.
Stay up to date with emerging web technologies and industry trends.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
2+ years of experience in web development or a similar role.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web development frameworks.
Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Knowledge of back-end technologies such as Node.js, PHP, Python, .NET, or Java.
Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills

Experience with WordPress, Shopify, Drupal, or other CMS platforms.
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies.
Understanding of SEO best practices and web accessibility standards.
Knowledge of web security principles and GDPR compliance requirements.
