Software Test Analysts at Wren play a key role in ensuring IT systems meet requirements and function correctly. Working within a large team of over 100 including developers, testers, and artists, they help maintain code quality, meet tight deadlines, and ensure systems (both in-house and third-party ERP) are issue-free and user-ready. The role also involves documenting systems and coordinating large testing projects.
This role is based at Barton-upon-Humber, with the option of Hybrid working.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with functional system testing across all projects, generating and execution of detailed test cases
- Planning and organising testing activities, mentoring, and delegating tasks where appropriate
- Responsible for ensuring continuous quality throughout feature releases
- Working with system developers to create usable IT solutions
- Daily interaction within Project teams and Stakeholders
- Identification of problems and solution formulation
- Proactive identification of department improvement
Desired skills and knowledge:
- Experience testing web, mobile/tablet, and design applications, with a solid understanding of Agile methodologies and iterative development
- ISTQB Certified (Foundation level or higher) and educated to degree level
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, PHP, and familiarity with automated testing strategies
- Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work to strict deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical issues to non-technical audiences
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced with ticketing systems such as JIRA
- Highly detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and within Agile teams
- Advanced literacy, numeracy, and fluency in spoken and written English
